Romantic Street- Rothenburg Photo Diary ロマンティック街道-写真集

On 16th we visited Rothenburg. Since it was right before Easter,  I had more fun taking photos because all stores were nicely decorated for it.
Rothenburg is one of 28 cities that belong to the Romantic Road and attracts tourists from all over the world. Although I'm also a foreigner in Germany, I was surprised how crowded the main street was.
Until Jan planned to drive to the Romantic Road this time, I was only thinking that the Romantic Road is a street of a town somewhere in Germany and famous for some reason. lol

Here you see the townscape of the Middle Ages, castles and churches in the big nature of the Alps like you turn pages of a book of fairy tale.
The Romantic Road is scenic Routes that longitudinally cross center of southern Germany.
There are 28 towns from north to south over the road which is about 350km (220mi) length comparable to between Tokyo and Osaka.
Romantic Road celebrated its 60th anniversary in 2010 from its inauguration, though, since the 19th century it continues to attract travelers for the nostalgic towns.
Because it is a very long road, the towns have many faces in the north and south. Famous Neuschwanstein Castle which is a model of Cinderella Castle is located at the foot of the German Alps of southward Romantic Road.
Small towns of Middle Ages range stretch the wide plain of the north half.
It is a good idea to go to the north side if you would like to see lovely towns and for the south side if you aim for beautiful castles

16日にローテンブルクに行って来ました。復活祭(イースター)直前だったため、どのお店もかわいいデコレーションが施されていていつにも増して観光し甲斐がありました。
このローテンブルグはロマンティック街道の一つで有名な事からここを訪れる観光客も世界各国からたくさん。
私もドイツでは外国人ですが、お土産屋さんが立ち並ぶ通りではその賑わいぶりにびっくりしました。
今回じょんがロマンティック街道に行こうと計画を立てるまで私はその通りの事をよくわかっていなくて、どこかの街にそんな名前の通りがあってワケあって人気なんだろうな程度に思っていました。それが大間違いでした。笑
上にも書きましたがこのローテンブルグはロマンティック街道の一つの通過点。
"ここには中世の町並みや、アルプスの大自然の中にたたずむ古城や教会などが、まるでメルヘンの絵本をめくるように次々と現れます。
ロマンティック街道は、南ドイツの真ん中を縦断する観光街道。東京～大阪間に匹敵する約350Km の街道上に、28ヶ所の町々が南北に連なっています。
ロマンティック街道はその発足から2010年で60周年を迎えましたが、中世の面影を残すノスタルジックな町々は、街道発足のはるか昔の19世紀以来、旅人を魅了し続けています。とっても長い街道ですから、自然も町も南北ではかなり表情が異なります。シンデレラ城のモデルとして日本でも有名なノイシュヴァンシュタイン城はじめ、優美な古城や教会が佇んでいるのはロマンティック街道南部のドイツアルプスのふもと。

Squats for Nice Buns! スクワットと最近の写真

It's been pretty warm in Germany and the temperatures almost reach 30℃ (86°F) in this beginning of April!

Are you ready for Summer that's coming in a few months?? 

Every year people talk about how to make your upper arms, thighs, waist thinner, or remove cellulite and so on. 

They probably talk or you hear less about how to lift your butt though, in case you aren't sure what's good for nice buns, I declare that squats work the best. 

I've been squatting too since last 3 months and my butt's gotten up and off fat! I will 100% continue as long as possible, preferably until I become an old lady!, and keep it in fit as well as other workouts for total body exercise. 

This first picture is me. I don't look as good as I expect to look and need more trainings but no fake.

ここのところドイツはとてもあったかくて、というか暑くて、数日前は27℃でした。

まだ4月も始まったばかりなのに夏日も近いです。春が来れば夏!

お馴染みの部分痩せ、上半身痩せ、下半身痩せばっかり毎年話題になりますが、ぷりっと引き上がったお尻も大大大重要です。それにはスクワットが一番。

信号待ちや歯磨きの時につま先で立ってかかと浮かせて上下させたりなんかするのはぺったっんこヒップはビクともしません。セルライトなしのしっかりリフトされたお尻にはスクワットが最強です。

私もやっていますから宣言します。この写真も私。まだ鍛えが足りないから継続あるのみですが。

私が気に入っているスクワットのビデオを載せておきます。時間も8分なので気軽に出来ますし、一回一回細かい動きがビデオを観るだけで確認できるので、英語が理解出来なくてもエクササイズは楽しめます。(ウォームアップ、クールダウンはご自分で)

Happy Birthday for Jan's Dad - Maccha Cake 抹茶シフォンケーキ

On 25th. March, it was a birthday of Jan's dad and I made this full Maccha (≒ green tea) chiffon cake with a filling of Anko (red bean paste) mousse as everyone loves Maccha flavor.
It took me 3 hours to make Anko from dry beans which was longer than I thought.
For the cream outside the cake, I used drained soy yogurt with sugar and maccha powder. It turned out amazing taste without high calorie cream.
The healthier, the better!

It's actually easier for me to use normal yogurt but Jan' mom has lactose intolerance that causes her stomachache and some problems from milk product.
You might probably think that I could've still use one because it was his dad's birthday though, one time she told me that she had my cake after removing all whipped cream with a fork and I thought I should make a cake that everyone feels comfortable to eat.
For this reason I bought soy yogurts for this cake.

3月25日にじょんパパの誕生日だったので、みんな大好き&ドイツにないケーキということで抹茶をこれでもかってほど使ったケーキをプレゼントしました。
中身は小豆ムース。で外は抹茶クリーム。
以前アジア食品店で買った小豆があったので3時間かけてあんこを作り、豆乳ヨーグルトを使ってムースにしました。
外のクリームも水切りした豆乳ヨーグルトに抹茶と砂糖を混ぜただけ。生クリームは一切使わずにヘルシー。
普通のヨーグルトの方が簡単なのですが、じょんのお母さんがラクトーゼアレルギーがあり、通常の乳製品だと腹痛を起こすとかで豆乳ヨーグルトを調達して今回作りました。
じょんのお父さんのケーキだからそんなことしなくても、と思うかもしれませんが、前回普通にケーキを作った時に生クリームだけフォークで削いで食べたと言われたので気持ちよく食べてもらおうと思い豆乳に。
数日後、腹痛は起こらなかったと電話で報告が来ました。笑
豆乳って説明しておいたんだからその報告いらないでしょ、って思ったのは私だけ。

Picnic in Großer Feldberg (Taunus) フェルトベルグ(タウノス)でピクニック

It's gotten a bit later to post but in the beginning of this month, on 9th. Sunday, Jan and I went to a mountain in Taunus district to go on a picnic. I made sandwiches for lunch too :)
The mountain, called Feldberg, is about ±40 minutes away by a car from our house and has highest altitude (878M) in Hochtaunuskreis (=Tunus) district.
At the top of Feldberg, there is an observation platform and you can enjoy beautiful scenery from a terrestrial telescope over Frankfurt city, the airport and runways, and Rhein-Main district.


投稿が遅くなりましたが、今月初めの9日(日曜日)にTaunus (タウノス)地区にある山まで行ってピクニックしてきました。サンドイッチも作って春を堪能です。
私たちの街から、スムーズにいけば40分くらい車を走らせたところにある山です。
878Mの標高で、この辺りの山では一番高いものになります。頂上には展望台があり(一回につき1€で使用可能)天気が良く空気が澄んでいればフランクフルトの街や空港・滑走路、Rhein-Main(ライン-マイン)地区まで眺めることが出来ます(Mainz (マインツ)は遠過ぎて不可)。

Wait, I'm in Europe *_* そういえばヨーロッパ

When I posted this photo (other photos below) on my instagram, I've gotten many Likes and a comment "this looks like a post card!".
"Oh wait, I'm in Europe!" I kind of remembered that I'm still in Europe in which most of my friends are eager to be.
When I first came and moved to Germany, everything was new to me and kept me taking hundreds of photos. As I've been here for almost 3 years now, things that amazed me earlier has gotten pretty normal and I don't ever take photos of city views and stuff. I don't mean that it's gotten boring or something though!
I'll start to take more photos of my surroundings and places I visit again :)

instagramに車からの景色を載せたら好評で、絵はがきみたいなんてコメントをもらいました。
あ、そっか、と自分がヨーロッパにいることを思い出し何枚かケータイで撮ってみました。
初めてドイツに来た時や越して来たばかりの時は新鮮で写真撮りまくってたけど、3年も住むとこの景色が当たり前になって全く撮らないんですよね。
どんな景色が「あーキレイ!」ってときめくのかも忘れかけたり。。
この写真を撮った日は曇りだったのでイマイチぱっとしませんが気に入ってもらえたら嬉しいです :)

SAKURA - Cherry blossom ドイツの桜

Fully enjoyed cherry blossom trees this year again.
As it was over 20℃ everyday last 2 weeks, all flowered bloomed up and they have started to drop petals already.
How's sakura (cherry blossom) in Japan this year?

今年も桜を満喫しました。
過去2週間くらい、ドイツは毎日20℃超えだったためたちまち花たちが満開になり、もう散り出して茶色の葉っぱが出てる桜の木もちらほら。
日本の桜はどんな感じでしょうか?

Schnitzel Jägersoße (hunter's sauce) recipe 猟師風シュニッツェル レシピ

On 26th. Feb I made nice German food for my German husband :D 

Jan knew that schnitzel was waiting for him and only had salad on the flight.  

If I had that small food (salad!) looking forward to big dinner in some hours, it'd make me way too much hungry and I actually couldn't eat much what I was waiting for. 

What about? Too much hunger even loses appetite, as for me. ;)

先月26日、ドイツ人が喜ぶドイツ料理を夕飯に作りましたー :D

この日じょんは成田から帰ってくる日で、彼は夕飯にシュニッツェルが待ってるのを知ってたので機内ではサラダだけしか食べて来なかったそう。

そんなに楽しみにしてたなんて。。笑

私の場合、例えば夕飯に超大好物が食べられるとわかってても昼をサラダだけとかにはしません。笑

お腹空きすぎると逆に食べられなくなるんですが、みなさんはどうですか?

たまに空腹を通り越して気持ち悪くなったりとかも、昔はしてました。
