Picnic in Großer Feldberg (Taunus) フェルトベルグ(タウノス)でピクニック

It's gotten a bit later to post but in the beginning of this month, on 9th. Sunday, Jan and I went to a mountain in Taunus district to go on a picnic. I made sandwiches for lunch too :)
The mountain, called Feldberg, is about ±40 minutes away by a car from our house and has highest altitude (878M) in Hochtaunuskreis (=Tunus) district.
At the top of Feldberg, there is an observation platform and you can enjoy beautiful scenery from a terrestrial telescope over Frankfurt city, the airport and runways, and Rhein-Main district.


投稿が遅くなりましたが、今月初めの9日(日曜日)にTaunus (タウノス)地区にある山まで行ってピクニックしてきました。サンドイッチも作って春を堪能です。
私たちの街から、スムーズにいけば40分くらい車を走らせたところにある山です。
878Mの標高で、この辺りの山では一番高いものになります。頂上には展望台があり(一回につき1€で使用可能)天気が良く空気が澄んでいればフランクフルトの街や空港・滑走路、Rhein-Main(ライン-マイン)地区まで眺めることが出来ます(Mainz (マインツ)は遠過ぎて不可)。

Wait, I'm in Europe *_* そういえばヨーロッパ

When I posted this photo (other photos below) on my instagram, I've gotten many Likes and a comment "this looks like a post card!".
"Oh wait, I'm in Europe!" I kind of remembered that I'm still in Europe in which most of my friends are eager to be.
When I first came and moved to Germany, everything was new to me and kept me taking hundreds of photos. As I've been here for almost 3 years now, things that amazed me earlier has gotten pretty normal and I don't ever take photos of city views and stuff. I don't mean that it's gotten boring or something though!
I'll start to take more photos of my surroundings and places I visit again :)

instagramに車からの景色を載せたら好評で、絵はがきみたいなんてコメントをもらいました。
あ、そっか、と自分がヨーロッパにいることを思い出し何枚かケータイで撮ってみました。
初めてドイツに来た時や越して来たばかりの時は新鮮で写真撮りまくってたけど、3年も住むとこの景色が当たり前になって全く撮らないんですよね。
どんな景色が「あーキレイ!」ってときめくのかも忘れかけたり。。
この写真を撮った日は曇りだったのでイマイチぱっとしませんが気に入ってもらえたら嬉しいです :)

SAKURA - Cherry blossom ドイツの桜

Fully enjoyed cherry blossom trees this year again.
As it was over 20℃ everyday last 2 weeks, all flowered bloomed up and they have started to drop petals already.
How's sakura (cherry blossom) in Japan this year?

今年も桜を満喫しました。
過去2週間くらい、ドイツは毎日20℃超えだったためたちまち花たちが満開になり、もう散り出して茶色の葉っぱが出てる桜の木もちらほら。
日本の桜はどんな感じでしょうか?

Schnitzel Jägersoße (hunter's sauce) recipe 猟師風シュニッツェル レシピ

On 26th. Feb I made nice German food for my German husband :D 

Jan knew that schnitzel was waiting for him and only had salad on the flight.  

If I had that small food (salad!) looking forward to big dinner in some hours, it'd make me way too much hungry and I actually couldn't eat much what I was waiting for. 

What about? Too much hunger even loses appetite, as for me. ;)

先月26日、ドイツ人が喜ぶドイツ料理を夕飯に作りましたー :D

この日じょんは成田から帰ってくる日で、彼は夕飯にシュニッツェルが待ってるのを知ってたので機内ではサラダだけしか食べて来なかったそう。

そんなに楽しみにしてたなんて。。笑

私の場合、例えば夕飯に超大好物が食べられるとわかってても昼をサラダだけとかにはしません。笑

お腹空きすぎると逆に食べられなくなるんですが、みなさんはどうですか?

たまに空腹を通り越して気持ち悪くなったりとかも、昔はしてました。

It's gotten a little late to tell you, but on 10th Feb. I passed practical exam and got driver's license! Woo too!!

So..the next day I jumped into the car that Jan always uses to practice and Jan joined me to watch my drive. 

The car from my driving school is a diesel and makes it easier to start up, for example, at a traffic signal.

But our car is a normal gasoline car which most people drive as well and is still a bit difficult for me to start because you need to get a feeling when you press crutch and gas at the same time with a right balance. The engine otherwise stalls, which happens to me sometime.. 

It's like horror when the engine stalls when you're still a fresh driver, are the first car of the line, and want to start up at the signal and it keeps going off. 

AGHHH. I know I can get used to it soon but the feeling in a rush..

I need to drive some more where there's less traffic.

報告が遅くなりましたが、2月10日に実技試験合格して運転免許取りましたー!ひゃっほーい!

取得翌日に早速いつもじょんが運転してる車に乗って少し練習。

教習所の車はディーゼルなので信号待ちの後などの発進は楽なのですが、普通ガソリンの車はクラッチとガスのタイミングをうまく合わせないとすぐエンストしてしまうのでその加減が難しいー。

慣れの問題だからすぐなんとかなるんだろうけど。。

先頭で赤信号になってしまうとヒヤヒヤです。青になったのにエンストして後ろの車をイライラさせると余計焦る! 

もう少し交通の少ないところで練習ですね。

25th Birthday! 25歳の誕生日!

On 13th, I turned 25 years old. 

I've lived a quarter of a century..lol I still remember when I first entered and came to work as a freshman, my coworkers were surprised how young I was as I was the youngest girl and said "new generation". lol 

As it was again a celebration, we came to Roter Hahn. Although we don't come here as much as we'd like to because it's a three-star restaurant and hotel, there's always a nice ambience and you can enjoy good German dish.

Every time the waiter comes to the table, he calls us by name, that makes us feel even more special. :) 

We came here also for 1st Wedding anniversary.

2月13日に25歳になりました。

もう四半世紀生きてしまった(笑)。。職場にいても平成生まれは珍しくなくなっちゃった感が増してる今日この頃ですね。社会人デビューしたときは自分が社内で一番年下で「キャー平成が来たー」なんて言われたのに。。笑

今回もお祝いということで来たレストランはRoter Hahn (読みはローターハーンで意味は赤い雄鶏(おんどり))。三ツ星ホテル・レストランなのでファミレス感覚で来れる場所ではありませんが、落ち着いてていい雰囲気です。いただける食事はドイツ料理。

ウェイターはわざわざテーブルに来る度名前で呼んでくれるので嬉しい気分になります笑(庶民丸出し。。いや、庶民です)

ここには去年結婚記念日にも来ました。

Why I couldn't blog at all in January 一月ブログできなかった理由

I'm going to write down the reason I couldn't make any posts after Jan's birthday in January before I forget. 

On 22nd, January, he flew back home from Japan and we enjoyed nice dinner. I gave him a herbal cold medicine as he's gotten a sore throat from the flight. 

Next morning, though I told him that it could be worse if he'd go for shopping, he continued "I'm fine, we can go shopping" and we decided to go to a super market and finished some shopping.

Around 5pm, on the 23rd, he was sitting on the sofa and looked sickly dull. 

He went straight to bed without having dinner. 

That's why I told you.

In such an evening, it reminds me of the nightmare that I got after celebration of 1 year wedding anniversary in November 2013.   lol

1月16日の運転免許の筆記試験合格後に複数記事を書く予定ができなかった理由を忘れないうちに残そうと思います。

1月22日にじょんが成田からドイツに帰ってきていつも通りの夕食を済ませたあと、喉が痛いなんて言うので風邪のひき始め用の改源を飲ませて就寝。

翌朝、私はじょんに「ちょっと良くなったからって動き回ってると悪化するよー」って言ったのに、元気になってしまったのでお昼過ぎから買い出しなどで動き回ることに。

同日(23日)夕方5時頃、ソファでだるそうにじょんが座っていて、「だるい。。眠い。。」って言い出して夕飯を食べずにベッドへ。

だから言ったのに。ねー。

こんな夜、去年の11月、結婚記念日を祝った直後に私が襲われた悪夢を思い出す。。笑
